With the on-campus dining options being so poor, the off-campus dining found just outside of both Fordham campuses is a true godsend. Are you in the mood for Italian food? Just take a quick walk down to Arthur Avenue for dozens of choices. Whether you're in the mood for some delicious pizza, an Italian hero, or a fancy sit-down dinner, you'll be able to find it on Arthur Avenue. Not feeling Italian today? No problem—the Fordham area is also full of other ethnic foods, including several Chinese, Japanese, and Mexican restaurants. Looking for something more basic? There are also several delis and cafés that offer some good ol' American food like burgers, chicken fingers, wings, and fries. So no matter what you are looking for when escaping the cafeteria, the area surrounding Fordham has got your taste buds covered.
Off-campus dining options are also perfect for late-night (and possibly drunken) hunger. Pugsley Pizza is a staple when it comes to late-night dining at Fordham, but now there are more options such as Munchiez and Simon's. These places stay open until about 3 or 4 a.m. on Tuesday nights and weekend nights. Best of all, these places deliver to off-campus apartments and the dorms, so you can enjoy your late-night snack in the comfort of your room—and in your pajamas.
