3 College Junior

Parking: There definitely needs to be more and closer parking.

5 College Junior

Athletics: We are currently ranked number one, so I would say we are pretty good.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: It is definitely getting better, yet there I wish there was better transportation to these places.

4 College Junior

Diversity: I love how much diversity there is in our school.

4 College Junior

Transportation: I love the new app we got that locates where and when the bus is coming.

4 College Junior

Academics: I love my major because the classes are interesting but repetitive.

3 College Junior

Academics: There can be better classes and professors because many are just average.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are many options but some can be pretty far.

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: Not too many options and not many good or healthy options.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere is pretty good because of all the football games.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: They do a great job just need to work more with the students.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I love our campus life, there is always something to do.

3 College Junior

Facilities: Some are modern while others are very old and need remodeling.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dinning at my school is alright.

3 College Junior

Transportation: The campus shuttle is free, which is great, but can sometimes be unreliable being on time, and full when they arrive, making you wait for another shuttle.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: FSU is getting a lot of new dinning options and more dinning plans that work with students, which is great!

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I have not really run into the campus strictness and police, which is a good thing. Teachers make sure that you are not cheating, and if you do they will report you.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There seems to be a ton of off campus housing, however the parking is always difficult since we are in such tight spaces. Many students carpool or the resident at the apartment will pick up the person.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: FSU is in the process of rebuilding a lot of their old dorms to make sure that they are all up to date and nice for students. They are tiny when you share with another student, but not as tiny as others.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I rushed my freshman year, and the girls seemed like they already knew who they wanted in their sorority. It seemed that if you were not a size zero, had blonde or brunette hair, and was not a cheerleader in high school you were basically out.

3 College Junior

Weather: During the summer it is super hot and during the winter it can be cold or up in the 70s. It is very much like northern weather.

5 College Junior

Academics: Teachers are there for students and willing to work with students. They stick to their curriculum along with talking about current events that influence the field.

4 College Junior

Academics: There seems to be a big variety of courses and study areas offered at FSU. The teachers are always there for students and willing to work with them.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Students vary from wearing dresses and dressing up for class to wearing Nike shorts and tank tops to class.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are a ton of restaurants that are great places for students to go to. There is a great variety between dives and local places to great restaurants that you want to go to on a date night!

You would be hard-pressed to find a graduate of Florida State University who doesn’t have fond memories of the years they spent on campus. Current students will also agree that they are happy with their decision to attend school here. There is something for everyone, from athletics to academia, and you would have a hard time finding a more comfortable setting than Tallahassee. It has so much to offer, from exciting nightlife to beautiful weather.

Although it bears the reputation of a party school, FSU also has a growing reputation for turning out some of the best and brightest graduates in the entire nation. The school is now turning its focus on research, which should appeal to those interested in science and mathematics. But never fear, FSU also emphasizes the arts through their award-winning film and theater departments. From math and science, to the arts, FSU offers a vast array of eclectic degrees, which will be nothing but helpful later in your life. Choosing which college to attend is not an easy decision, but if you’re looking for the perfect combination of a good education and a good time, you can’t do much better than Florida State University.
