Campus Housing: I did not live on campus so I can not rate the on campus housing.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I think the strictness on campus is okay. In the end, it is for safety purposes.

3 College Junior

Diversity: The people I associate myself with are very similar to myself.

Health & Safety: I feel safe, especially since I know where I can find security guards and the safety poles.

Off-Campus Housing: I currently live off-campus and I enjoy my freedom. While I miss being closer to my classroom, I would not like to live on campus again.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many places in Tallahassee to enjoy great food. The variety is endless and the prices are college-friendly.

Campus Strictness: I'd like to see more video surveillance at the school. this could reduce the number of law breaking offenses and give officers more time to do real investigative work

You would be hard-pressed to find a graduate of Florida State University who doesn’t have fond memories of the years they spent on campus. Current students will also agree that they are happy with their decision to attend school here. There is something for everyone, from athletics to academia, and you would have a hard time finding a more comfortable setting than Tallahassee. It has so much to offer, from exciting nightlife to beautiful weather.

Although it bears the reputation of a party school, FSU also has a growing reputation for turning out some of the best and brightest graduates in the entire nation. The school is now turning its focus on research, which should appeal to those interested in science and mathematics. But never fear, FSU also emphasizes the arts through their award-winning film and theater departments. From math and science, to the arts, FSU offers a vast array of eclectic degrees, which will be nothing but helpful later in your life. Choosing which college to attend is not an easy decision, but if you’re looking for the perfect combination of a good education and a good time, you can’t do much better than Florida State University.
