3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: You have to drive at least 15 minutes off campus to find anything halfway decent to do.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I find that I am not eligible for a lot of scholarships but i still apply for as many as I can.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus and don't know anyone who does for that matter. I don't even think we have off campus apartments because we are not that big of a university.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Most of the Greek are off the yard right now.

1 College Sophomore

Computers: The computers are terribly slow and the labs are always to full for anyone to be able to function.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Its a struggle. Hours wait just to be sent to another office and wait. Paper work gets lost and numbers can get messed up. But its improving.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Not all the sororities are on this campus. But they all get along.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Clinic is only open during the week days from 9-5. Which is kinda rediculous. And the security is always around.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Its life. Its college. Some people do. Some people dont. If you dont then okay. If you do then okay.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: You NEED a car. You cant walk to get food. Its too far. We are in a residential area.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: You MUST have a car in order to get the full miami night life experience. We are located in the middle of no where it feels like sometimes.

1 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There is no off-campus housing available. Of you want to live off campus you have to find your own house or apartment. And its miami so its not necessarily cheap. And if it is then its not necessarily safe.

Diversity: Its great if you are speaking of diversity within the "brown" race. Many students from the islands, locals, and people from up north. There are transfers from England and Argentina who play on the soccer team. Besides that we are truly a HBCU.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: We have a basketball team, a volleyball team, a great soccer team, and track. Then we have as fun and competition a flag football team for the boys and girls. That gets a great turn out cause it shows the talent of football players we have. The school is trying to get a team in the works now.

Campus Strictness: Visitation in Dorms:

There are girl dorms and there are boy dorms. We are not allowed to visit different sexes rooms at all. If a boy/girl is caught in your room during a room-check tou will be fined $250. Honestly they need to fix this rule. I understand we are a Baptist University, but we are grown, treat us as so. Or another proposal is to have one dorm for specific upper classmen who can live in a co-ed environment responsibly.

Computers: The wifi almost never works and the computers operate slow, and are for some strange reason always crowded. The printers give trouble now and then.

College Student

Nightlife: I do not stay on-campus unfortunately but I have however done several all-nighters for a big test. My observations is that its very peaceful and quiet. I think I love school more at night than day

4 College Student

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of fast food outlets that open late and some restaurants that can be costly at times but I am contented I guess. The food places that I like are Munchie's Pizza and Mc Donald's.

4 College Student

Athletics: I am not a sports person, but everyone seems to take some sort of interest.

2 College Student

Majors: The university does not offer any Associate Degree's. This is challenging for me because if I cannot afford to go to school for the entire 4 years, I can go to school for 2 years and have some type of degree.

5 College Student

Majors: Not much people are doing a BA in chemistry and therefore I am able to get the individual attention I need. The workload is fairly easy so far and I am a very hardworking person so I give myself credit for getting through so far.

1 College Student

Campus Strictness: I believe this is not the security's fault. Based on my observations, the students are pretty sneaky and they get their drugs in and out of campus really well.

4 College Student

Diversity: The diversity of students is incredible. I assume that its a 50/50 percent of both International and U.S. students. My school is a Baptist school. But most of the students are Christians of all versions. There is a minority of gays, lesbians and bisexuals. Most of the students need the financial aid.

3 College Student

Greek Life: I am not really into Greek life but I have heard that they throw great parites

3 College Student

Facilities: The staff really does everything possible to help assist their students in whatever way they can. I am very appreciative of the assistance I have been given but I need to have money to go towards buying my books and campus accommodation because at any day I could be homeless.
