4 College Sophomore

Transportation: There simply needs to be a train system built that can travel to any major metropolitan market throughout Florida in order for me to give a five-star rating. Until then, most of the roads here are clear and not much traffic to be found in an early morning commute.

3 College Junior

Transportation: It's Florida, so mass transportation isn't our modus operandi, so to speak.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The buses are very packed.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: Shuttles take us from class to the dorms and even to the shopping center.

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: To get off campus is kind of difficult with few options if you dont have a car. There's a campus shuttle that takes you to Town Center but only Thurs-Sat and until 9pm. If you want to go anywhere else you have to either take the city bus, ride a bik, or ask someone for a ride.

Transportation at FGCU is very easy and free. The shuttles are a great start, but there could be more. There is a little trouble during busy times and having to wait for buses, particularly around 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. when a lot of people have class. Students should leave an hour to 30 minutes before they need to be on campus to avoid being late for class.

More off-campus options would be great. The Gulf Coast Town Center shuttle mostly runs on the weekends; it would be a great break in the day for students if they could go during the week in between classes!
