4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The area is amazing. It has a chill vibe but also has various activities for night life.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There's a lot of retired people around the area. However, these retired people are NOT the average ones. They actually drive the speed limit, and I see some that go to the bars and clubs that you would see a lot of students go to.

5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Naples is great for small businesses, and places are always recruiting for paid internships, part and full-time jobs, as well as careers.

Students have the Gulf Coast Town Center and the Miromar Outlets very close to campus, which offer a variety of stores and restaurants. However, other than these places, there's not much to do off campus. Eating and shopping are the main attractions, but not everyone enjoys this all of the time.

Students usually entertain themselves by finding stuff to do on campus. Overall, Florida Gulf Coast University is a beautiful campus, and the student body is very friendly.
