5 College Sophomore

Computers: The school offers computers to check out but I would rather bring my own, but are supplied if needed

3 College Senior

Computers: Network speed and wireless accessibility are probably the worst things in terms of how the system works. Other than that, everything works very well

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Last year the computers were very slow! This year I have seen an improvement due to a large number of complaints and the computer labs are usually not packed since most students have their own computers. Some times are more crowded than others.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer labs at Florida College are useful mainly for printing documents, and work well for that. They are typically painfully slow for anything much more than that. You definitely need your own computer at school, for written assignments and online assignments (which are part of most classes). The WiFi works well for the most part, and covers most of the campus.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The computer labs are very nice and printing is extremely simple. The network can be somewhat iffy but works for the most part. Wireless access is better in some places than others but is effective enough for those who have laptops. Most students have personal computers for convenience but I know many students who don't have any and completed all their required tasks just fine.

The best advice is for students to bring their own laptops to campus. It's so much easier, and you're able to work on your computer anywhere you want. For students who don't bring laptops, there are 80 computer labs all around campus, so it's relatively easy to find an open computer.
