5 College Junior

Weather: The weather here is paradise

5 College Senior

Weather: It's south florida! The weather behaves most of the time and lends itself to a more relaxed atmosphere. There is always the wish for actual seasons as the area only participates in hot summer and rainy summer but the beach is close to remedy.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: It's great. It's mostly sunny, which is great because the beach is about 10 min away.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Its great if you have a car to get around but a bike, the weather puts some hinderance.

3 College Senior

Weather: Just be sure to bring an umbrella.

For the most part, Boca Raton weather is hot and balmy—so bring your tank tops, flip-flops, and short-shorts. However, the South Florida area is also susceptible to tropical storms and hurricanes, so students should also be prepared for that extreme. Rain coats, umbrellas, and rain boots are encouraged (although sometimes they won't do much to protect you when the weather gets really bad with strong winds and floods).

There's a link on the FAU Web site to weather updates and warnings. If students are concerned about whether classes or canceled or not, they can check out the site for updates.
