3 College Junior

Weather: It is almost always sunny, but when it rains randomly it can be frustrating.

4 College Senior

Weather: If you like sunshine FAU is for you. Living in south Florida has sits perks of year round 80+ weather! sunny and occasionally breezy! however! the humidity can be overbearing. Fau is continuously accommodating the student body, they created the breezeway to keep the rain off our heads and breathing room while walking to class. The classrooms are always chilly and water fountains are always near by.

2 College Freshman

Weather: There are a very limited amount of parking spaces for students. Everyday I must arrive at least an hour before class to find a parking spot close to my class, it can be very frustrating. A brand new parking garage has been built recently and that seems to have made very little impact with parking relief. We need more parking areas.

For the most part, Boca Raton weather is hot and balmy—so bring your tank tops, flip-flops, and short-shorts. However, the South Florida area is also susceptible to tropical storms and hurricanes, so students should also be prepared for that extreme. Rain coats, umbrellas, and rain boots are encouraged (although sometimes they won't do much to protect you when the weather gets really bad with strong winds and floods).

There's a link on the FAU Web site to weather updates and warnings. If students are concerned about whether classes or canceled or not, they can check out the site for updates.
