3 College Junior

Greek Life: They think they are better than everyone else, it is annoying.

2 College Senior

Greek Life: Joining Alpha Xi Delta freshman year was an amazing experience.... The key word there "was." The FAU board and staff does not support Greek life. The Greek life here makes up only 1% of the population, and yet the Greeks bring I more philanthropy efforts! they engage in more events and bring a positive experience to students. We do not have housing, nor support from the staff.

1 College Senior

Greek Life: I went to FSU....FAU will never have good Greek Life due to the old people that live here

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life at Florida Atlantic University is rather subtle when compared to other universities such as Florida State or Central Florida. There aren't any frat/sorority homes on campus (that I would even know about) so it's not very intrusive or side-tracking for those students who wish to go through college on their own path. However most of the fraternities or sororities here seem to be more reserved, whereas a bright future and widely held connections overpower the simple pleasantries of huge parties every weekend

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I don't have any incentives to get into grfeek life since they're usually expensive to join in.

Greek life at FAU is as big as you make it. There are no houses on campus, but many of the parties that go on are held by Greeks in their off-campus houses. If you're in a fraternity or sorority, you will have many activities and events to attend, but if you are not, you will certainly not be bored or left out.
