5 College Junior

Drug Safety: None that I have ever seen

College Senior

Drug Safety: None of the ratings made sense for this question. The drug scene is almost unnoticeable. That is not to say it is not there, the school is close to Miami after all. However I have never run into problems or seen active use of drugs on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: The school is really trying to get a handle on this. If you are caught , you have to attend special drug classes, and its put on your records. Also be careful even if you dont drink. Your friends can get u in trouble.

5 College Senior

Drug Safety: I myself have not seen any drug or alcohol use while on campus. As for it being done in the dorms I can't really say. There are always fliers being put in class rooms for events at the local bars.

College Freshman

Drug Safety: You have to know the right people to know where the parties are

The most noticeable part of the drug scene on campus is smoking cigarettes. A large quantity of students smoke, and you definitely see that the minute you step on campus. Just like almost every other college or university, alcohol and marijuana are prominent. Every night is a party night, and many rarely take a night off. It is rare to meet someone who does not or has not tried smoking pot. The use of more hardcore drugs is kept out of mainstream campus life and is certainly not a noticeable part of campus life.

Although there is a great deal of pot and alcohol, pressure is off. Students do what they want to do and let you do what you want to do. You can still go to parties and not drink and no one will judge you or make you feel inferior. The drug scene is as big as you make it.
