5 College Junior

Computers: Technology on campus is great

4 College Senior

Computers: There are a number of computer labs on campus and I have never had a problem in accessing a computer when I needed to. Wireless access is pretty decent with the exception of no internet in the gym lockers, really spotty internet just outside of the Social Sciences building (SO), and no internet in the parking garages. They also provide both apple and pc computers which is a much thanked flexibility. They could improve by giving access to wireless printers. That way one could send the printing request from a laptop and pay at the printer.

4 College Senior

Computers: Just make sire you get to a lab on time. If ot you cant always rent a laptop from the library.

2 College Freshman

Computers: I suggest one brings their own laptop.

3 College Freshman

Computers: Computers, phones, and tablets are not allowed in the classroom.

The FAU campus is entirely wireless and although there are sometimes connection problems in some classrooms, students can always get speedy access to the Internet in their dorms. There is a 24-hour computer lab on campus, and it is never overcrowded.

Bringing your own computer to school is highly recommended. While there are plenty of places to get computer access on campus, sometimes the University computers will not work correctly or will already be in use, and you will the miss the deadline to hand in your essay if you decided to start working on it too late.
