3 College Junior

Scholarships: My personal experience was not the best, but I don't blame the school for the issue.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: I haven't noticed any issues in this area.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: They think they are better than everyone else, it is annoying.

5 College Junior

Academics: The classes are a challenge, and require you to study details in depth for exams. You can expect to be studying majority of the week, and still needing to cram before exams even when you are constantly preparing.

3 College Junior

Transportation: I rarely use the transportation, you can get around by walking just fine.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I live off campus, but i hear it is pretty nice.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Your needs will be met.

4 College Junior

Computers: They are relatively new, however if you prefer to work in a quiet atmosphere you should probably bring your own computer to school.

4 College Junior

Nightlife: There's many things close to campus to do at night.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Boca is expensive, and the school cannot control that fact.

5 College Junior

Majors: I love my college experience, and the teacher's are really awesome. I plan to attend medical school, and then decide after where I want to continue my career.

3 College Junior

Majors: Admission is not too bad, as long as you meet their requirements.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: I have lived in florida my entire life, so it is all that I know.

3 College Junior

Weather: It is almost always sunny, but when it rains randomly it can be frustrating.

Overall Experience: I had the best possibly experience as a freshman, FAU is all about new students and provides the works for their new students.

5 College Senior

Academics: My professors have been extremely informative and caring towards us as students.

5 College Senior

Majors: We have many options to chose from. I am currently interning at a local magazine and love it so far.

4 College Senior

Facilities: On campus events are thriving for freshman. If you move off campus there are less events to go to unless you are involved in Greek life and/or interested in sports.

4 College Senior

Facilities: Our campus is growing in expansion and modernizing the way we operate and look. The location and atmosphere is the best, diversity and expression is excepted and important among the student body.

5 College Senior

Majors: Switching majors and adding minors is so simple,

4 College Senior

Majors: I love my major but wish I could explore other options.

4 College Senior

Campus Dining: We have a variety of options but I'm just saying we need a Chick-fela

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: I love living off campus. There are many options for any type of person.

For most students, FAU was not their first-choice school. While it is a large school, most students are commuters, and it seems as though almost anyone can be accepted. However, once students arrive on campus, they realize that there are many activities and events to get involved with and that maybe their experience will not be so bad after all.

FAU is an up-and-coming school and is growing in students and facilities every year. However, most students do not plan to attend for their entire college career. Many are just using FAU to get their feet on the ground and to get general education classes out of the way. A huge percent of the student population transfers after two years to a larger, more college-town type of school.
