Off-Campus Dining: The Food is great, there are many places to go that serve great food late nights.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are a number of businesses near the school, but they don't offer much towards a student discount.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There's a checkers not too far. Theres that restaurant New Oleans that is not too far. But McDonalds, Burger King is a walking distance(I never walk there before)

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I love to eat! So having a list of endless restaurants is important to me. There is a wide varitey of dinners/food joints in Tallahassee, some are costly (worth every penny if the food is good) and some are inexpensive; it all depends on what you have a taste for. Being that this is a college town, sadly not a lot of restaurants offer student discounts but I hope dinners will implement that idea into their business plan in the near future. Most restaurants are away from campus, thus causing you to drive or catch other ways of transportation. The variety of food goes from, Chinese, to Jamaican, to Italian pizza joints.

At first glance, students might get the wrong impression that all Tallahassee has to offer is repetitive fast food places. But, if they look past all the McDonald’s, Burger Kings, and chicken spots, there are some hidden gems. There is a lot of variety in the restaurants here, so no matter what kind of food you are craving, you should be able to find an affordable option. Tallahassee dining includes European, Italian, Asian, Mexican, American, seafood, vegetarian, soul food, and delis, among others. Plus, there are all the fast food chains, which are close to the school.

On the other hand, kosher and vegetarian options are not that common. Tallahassee has about three restaurants that cater to non-meat eaters, but the city does have many alternative markets where students can purchase food to create their own meals. The prices are reasonable for many of the restaurants and are not too far-fetched for an average student’s budget. Overall, the restaurants are convenient, which comes in handy when students are tired of eating the same on-campus menu items.
