Fitchburg State is located in Massachusetts. New England weather means when it snows, it snows hard, and when it rains, it rains a lot. A good pair of boots and a warm winter jacket would be a great investment. Our campus is full of hills and is located near the mountains, which means the weather is either really nice or really cold. If you do not like cold weather, New England may not be the best place for you.
