Most students bring their own laptops to school. It makes doing homework or class assignments easier when you can't get to the library or a lab. There are a few computer labs around campus, a handful in the McKay Campus School that are mainly used by business students, and some in Edgerly and Conlon used by the communication media students. The library also has a lab on the third floor for students. This lab can fill up pretty quickly around exam time, but you can also access the school printers through these labs, too.
The entire campus is wireless, so you can access the Internet on mobile devices, laptops, and computers wherever you go. On nice days, you can see many students doing homework in the Quad or the patio outside their dorms or the library. It is recommended to bring an Ethernet cord with you just in case the wireless goes down in a bad storm or the technology department is doing routine maintenance. You may not have to use the cord while you are on campus, but it may come in handy some time.
