Weather: Winters can be brutal here, but I love winter, so it's great for me.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Winters in Michigan are horrible in general. The campus is accommodating to its students and faculty because of it.

2 College Student

Weather: A good 70-80% of the year is bitterly cold and snowy. It is really windy here also, which makes it even worse.

Michigan weather can fluctuate between freezing to milder temperatures within a week or even within a day! The nice part about the weather is that you get every season. Spring has relatively mild temperatures, where a T-shirt is the right attire. Summer weather is warm, but not overly hot. Fall comes with mild weather, too, and you are able to see a beautiful view with the changing leaves. Winter involves a lot of snow and very cold weather. Make sure to pack warm clothes, boots, hats, mittens, and scarves to stay warm.

Students do all types of activities during these different seasons. In spring, you can see students outside studying and enjoying the nice weather. In summer, it is a normal sight to see students tubing down the river together. In fall, people tend to spend time outside doing activities and enjoying the beautiful nature along trails in the woods. In winter, they will be out playing in the snow and going snowboarding or skiing in nearby towns. Whatever the weather is like outside, there is always something fun to do!
