4 College Student

Scholarships: Ferris is really great about alerting students to scholarship opportunities.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Ferris State offers on campus as well as an opportunity for external scholarships. This is great for me since my education is going to be dependent on that for funding.

4 College Student

Scholarships: The only thing that bothers me is how quickly funds from Ferris run out. We couldn't file our taxes early this year because money was tight, and now I am highly unlikely to receive money Ferris has set aside for first come first serve because I had to wait.

3 College Student

Scholarships: I don't receive scholarships from the school, even though it is much needed.

5 College Junior

Scholarships: Financial Aid is as simple as applying for FASFA. Also, any loans you take out are handled by Ferris as well. Important note to remember though, scholarships and loans are taken care of by two different departments. This is the only annoying part, but in the end you see it all combined together. So, if you want to talk about scholarships, you have to talk about it to one person, and then talk to another person regarding loans. Also, there is a 1% (or somewhere around here) processing fee for all federal aid. So, some of your money from the government won't show up in your E-Bill from Ferris. Also, if you get any scholarships from the main campus, do not expect to keep them if you transfer to another campus.
