Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
The sooner you start, the better the process will go. Begin looking for jobs and internships early and often. The career center offers a place to search for jobs and post resumes for employers to see. It also offers links to help with resumes and interview tips. Career services announces when events will take place and sponsors about two job fairs a year. Most students find the career center to be helpful. The alumni network is relatively strong and important in finding jobs and internships. You should talk with professors in your degree program to begin to form a network of alumni and resources to search for jobs and internships. Be motivated and proactive about your future!
