3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: i would say that Ferrris has some people opf every kind and background. there are lots of foreign Asian and Indian students of both genders. Lots of preppy people, as well as a few extremes on both ends of the spectrum, however I would consider most people average.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: It's like high school but bigger and so much better. The people are more varied and more interesting.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: lots of attractive people are here in my opinion

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: A lot of "country" boys and girls, so expect a lot of camo, blue jeans, and big trucks. Then you have some hipsters. Then you have a lot of partiers. Then you have a few oddballs there and there. Quite a few jocks/meat-heads. A lot of diversity, but for the most part, everyone is pretty friendly. The girls dress a bit more revealing than Grand Valley. People hardly wear pajamas or dress like crap to class. Nor do they come to class looking like crap. Social life is pretty huge at Ferris. It is up to you if you want to make friends. If you are living in the dorms, it is as simple as keeping your door open. Relationships are plentiful at Ferris, though, if you look at Ferris Confessions on Facebook, you will probably be wary of dating anyone there.

Guys & Girls: Although I met my husband here, we were not typical college students.

According to most students, the average girl is friendly, fun, outgoing, enjoys partying, and is smart. The average guy is seen as athletic, fun, and into partying. Neither sex is seen as too nerdy or stuck-up. Students interact usually at night, partying at houses, bars, or clubs. Another common way that students interact is playing sports or working out at the recreation center. According to most students, the best place to meet guys/girls and/or hookup with them is either at parties or the local bars and clubs.

There is a pretty decent ratio between guys and girls. Traditionally, there has been more guys then girls, but that ratio is changing as more girls are attending Ferris. There are many people on campus who are dating, as well as many students on campus who are single by decision. As on many college campuses, there are some students who are promiscuous and others more reserved. Sitting around campus, you can hear stories of either from different students. According to the students surveyed, there are a decent amount of people who have taken part in one-night stands.
