3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: I've only eaten at the Rock a couple of times. but it is not as great as everyone makes it out to be

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: As much as I complain I know that the options I get are better than the options on other campuses. Ferris has some of the best food for Universities.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Dining: Wasn't bad while I was on campus. There's quite a variety of food but most people end up eating at the same place on a daily basis because of convenience/location. Not really sure how the meal plans work now that I am off campus.

4 College Student

Campus Dining: The dining hours are quite excellent as compared to what I have heard of other schools - open 7 days a week from 7AM-Midnight, with the menu switching at periodic intervals throughout the day. They have an excellent variety available, and it is a great place to meet up with people as well.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: I wish there were more options throughout the day. It also feels like they cycle through the same things every week and there is not many new and exciting foods to try each week. It would be better if they cycled through every 2 or 3 weeks. There are always hamburgers and pizza if you don't like what is out. So there is always a good back up option.

The availability of dining on campus is quite good. There are three different dining facilities that are located around the campus, most offering an all-you-can-eat buffet option. For Ferris students, there is an unlimited amount of meals that a person can have. There are about four different meal plans that only differ in the amounts of money that can be spent at Quiznos, The Market, and Starbucks. They also each offer a specific amount of visitors' passes that can be used on other people without a meal plan.

After a while, there is not too much variability of the meals that is offered unless you continually change the place where you eat. All of the dining facilities offer healthy options, including salads. Ferris is currently trying to give students healthier options and a variety of food, including specialized foods for vegetarians and vegans. The newest facility redone is the Rock Café. This dining facility offers a wide array of  foods and is a modern facility. Future students who visit the campus get a free meal here at the end of their tour!
