Campus Housing: Overall, housing is good. Some of the dorms are older and rooms are small but they are clean and well kept. The dorm parents are very helpful. The apartments on campus are very nice but fill up quickly so you have to be proactive to get in.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: They are probably stricter than most related to who can visit in dorm rooms. I don't find this unreasonable as it corresponds with the morals taught by the church.

4 College Junior

Diversity: I have the opportunity to interact with students from England, Brazil, Africa as well as students from several states of the USA.

4 College Junior

Parking: The campus is small enough that a car isn't required but if you have a car there really isn't difficulty finding appropriate parking.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The school is located in the capitol of AL. There are many cultural, and historical attractions in the city. There are several colleges in town and there are planned events to involve students for all the local colleges. I have found the city to be student friendly.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: There are several opportunities for participation in social clubs, but you do not have to be in one to participate fully in campus activities.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The multiplex is a great place to hang out and offers several opportunities for interaction from the weight room, game courts, or tv rooms. The dorms and apartments are very nice compared to other schools I visited.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The instructors all are to have a Christian background and chapel is held everyday.

5 College Junior

Majors: I am enjoying my field of study. As I enter the courses that are more related to my chosen field I am finding myself more interested in the courses making it easier to study. My coach is a great encourager and support for me. I believe there are good opportunities for interning/assisting here on campus.

4 College Junior

Academics: We have great coaches and instructors that have the same degree that I am working toward. They are great mentors. There are good opportunities for internships, grad assistantships etc here.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: This past year we had a shooting on campus that involved a staff member being shot by her husband/ex-husband. Campus security responded quickly and the shooter was taken into custody by their efforts. Our security guards are serious about their jobs.

Campus Dining: The food in the caf is ok. It is sometimes hard to find selections that are supportive of a chosen diet plan. There are options; however, as we can use eagle bucks at the grille in addition to the caf. The cinnamon rolls are the best- not healthy but certainly good

Athletics: Faulkner has been successful in several athletic programs - baseball won the national championship in 2013 and has just ended their play in this year's season. Faulkner Eagle football, basketball, and ladies soccer made it to the championship play-offs in this past academic year's season. The students are active supporters of the athletic programs and enjoy competative play in intermural sports.

Nightlife: There is not any nightlife.

1 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Very dry, conservative Christian campus.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Not many requirements to join. Just make sure you have a good advisor to be sure you have a plan so you can graduate on time.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: As much as it feels like high school with the small size, cliques, and rules, I would do it again. Though it is nothing like what I grew up with I sincerely have grown as a person, student, and athlete here.

2 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: For being the capital of Alabama, I am very unimpressed. There is nothing to do ever.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There's a lot of sports bars and chain restaurants and chain fast foods. The school is sponsored by some delis and local places that offer discounts.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Faulkner has an excellent business program. The professors are awesome and truly enjoy their jobs. Work load is manageable, but some classes do require more work than others.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: There is a decent amount of variety. Law school, education, and business are said to be the best programs based on success and retention rates.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been great. I really appreciate the faculty and the things that they have done to help me to succeed. If I had to chose over, I would still chose my school.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Security on campus is great. The campus police are visible and you are aware of their presence.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The dorms are spectacular. I really enjoy staying on campus. It is strongly recommended

Transportation: There is no transportation provided by the school. Most of the shops and stores are near the campus, so you can walk to most places. It would be recommended that you have a car, because it would make life much easier.
