Overall Experience: Faulkner State is a very nice school to get yourself familiar with a college. It is small, and is not very hard, but it is cheap. It is great if your still not sure what you want to do yet.

College Senior

Career Services: I have no experience with post grad options, as I am attending still.

3 College Senior

Student Body: We mostly have older people trying for a degree, the younger students are irresponsible.

Campus Resources: Faulkner State's main campus is in Bay Minette, where most of these resources are found. They don't have a lot of access, and at the other campuses there is no libraries.

College Senior

Academic Experience: As a College Sophomore I was an undecided major for the first year. I never took any major related courses as of yet.

Academic Experience: The academic workload is not very hard. It really depends on your Professor. Some classes were just staring at the clock, while others were taking every note.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid is very easy to come by at Faulkner. I know that if you don't have the best GPA, they can work with you. A large portion of the students are receiving a Pell Grant, as well as a Presidential scholarship (which pays all tuition). The office is helpful and friendly, but sometimes it takes a bit of time to get anything done.

Academic Flexibility: Faulkner State is a wonderful steeping stone. The credits transfer anywhere in Alabama using the STARS program. After the first semester you can register yourself for classes, based on your own needs.

Online Courses: The online coursework is nothing really. Most of the teachers give you a bunch of work to do, and it feels like busy work. I only emailed by teacher if I saw a grade was missing.

Overall Experience: Faulkner State Community College is not hard, it is High School 2.0. Class sizes are smaller, about 40 people at first, at the end of the semester more than half of the students drop the course. Expect a lot of older people trying to get their degree cheaper. The professors can be very lazy, and some can be top-notch.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It's a community college. Getting a degree from Faulkner says "I needed the paper, now can I have the job?". At the main campus their is more opportunity for student jobs.

Academic Experience: There are no study groups whatsoever, this makes you have to buckle down on your studies. The is tutoring available but that is not always available when you need it.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: If you visit the financial Aid Office before Courses start, you will exactly what you need to do before deadlines occur.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The Organization that I joined made my experience more enjoyable.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The Performing arts Building is usually having Performances every other week along with singing etc.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I'm not on Campus often after classes.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The networking is better once you are near the lab or library.

3 College Junior
