1 College Sophomore

Parking: It's New York. I guess that's enough said.

College Freshman

Parking: I don't commute so I don't have a car. I don't really know anything about the parking except for that it's really hard to do in New York City. There are some street spots available on campus but they are extremely limited.

2 College Freshman

Parking: Leave your car at home, take public transportation instead. A lot cheaper and also saves you a lot of time.

College Senior

Parking: I am not to sure if FIT has an official off parking area.

2 College Junior

Parking: FIT is in Manhattan, everyone who knows the city knows it's hard to find parking. That is why everyone walks or takes the train. If you drive there is usually parking blocks away where the price is an arm and a leg. You don't need a car on campus because its NYC;there is public transportation. There is no parking at FIT at all.

It's easy to discover that unless you have to drive outside of the city, it's best to stick with public transportation. Parking is hard, and cab drivers do not like to share the road with other cars.

Driving into Manhattan will cost you in tolls and also extremely high parking rates. Traffic is really bad, and most cab drivers drive with rage, making it unsafe for others on the road. Parking regulations are strict and vary from street to street. It is suggested to take advantage of the transportation that is provided to the public, through buses and subways.
