Tuition & Financial Aid: If you really think about it the amount it cost to go here for 2 years you could go to a cheaper 4 year school and have your BA vs. your AA.There are only a few teachers that are worth the tuition you pay and it is hard to get into there classes because of there awesome reputation.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Well tuition is expensive but I feel like I will use it to my best knowledge because I'm learning from some great instructors.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I like that they provide everything, like supplies, but because it is a private school, the tuition is still a whole lot of money. A lot of repetitive classes that could have been one class.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Its so expensive to go to a school where I can probably learn the same things in a community college.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Art school is always expensive no matter where you go. in fact, i think FIDM is very affordable since they are offering a fast paced curriculum and the only people you here complain about the schools tuition are the people without jobs. It's all up to the student to make the most of their tuition. FIDM has helped me with finding PAID internships that benefit my career, connect me with successful alumni, and prepare me for working. So it think the tuition is very much worth it. Financial aid also covered a lot of my expenses (about 17,000 for my 2nd year)

    Smoothest Financial Aid Process

Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The financial aid at FIDM works primarily off of FAFSA, so make sure you and your parents or guardians (if you are still a dependent student) complete it as soon as possible. Once a student is at FIDM, he or she can utilize the financial advisors to help answer any questions. The financial advisors and the FIDM Portal are both great resources to make sure all of the financial papers are completed.

Financial aid can feel like a long and slightly stressful process, but you can do it! Just take it one form and one question at a time! There's financial aid that you can apply for as a new student at FIDM, and once you're a student, there is more financial aid you may qualify for.
