Campus Dining: While living in the dorms you are required to have a meal plan consisting of 12,14, or 16 meals per week. The 12 and 14 meal plans come with flex dollars of $150 or $225 depending on which meal plan. The nickel is the location where you can pick up food with flex dollars. There is one other food place for subs.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: Campus allows work study opportunities for students to work and receive extra cash.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Campus police are always on the job and will be there in a phone call if you need them.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Fairmont state has a dry campus policy meaning students are not allowed to have alcohol present on campus. In the dorms and in college apartments it is strictly prohibited if students are seen with it it will be confiscated.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Our school over multiple opportunities depending on your major to go out into the work force and have hands on experience through internships, activities, etc.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The cost of fairmont is relatively cheap in comparison to other colleges. If you're looking for an average campus including small in size, somewhat secluded, and close connections with professors and classmates this campus is wonderful about that. Dorm life for me wasn't that great, but for other people you can make close friends depending on roommate situations.

2 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Most people smoke weed. It's normal here.
