Campus Dining: The campus dining is not up to par. They have limited varieties of food, and it is very expensive to eat there. They have set hours, which is inconvenient if you would like to have something to eat "after hours."

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The cafeteria is sub par, but the other options are tasty.

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: I am not a huge fan of the cafe most of the time, but leaf and grains is awesome.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Never have food out and fresh

Campus Dining: The Dining Hall at my school has a great variety of food. They have both the health option and the quick, not so healthy options. They give you the freedom of creating your own food which keeps you from getting bored of eating there. It allows me to enter as many times as I want each day and eat and drink as much as I want making it a money saver considering I would spend more on food then I do on the meal plan in order to satisfy my eating habits.

There is only one company that caters food to the Florham campus of Fairleigh Dickinson: Gourmet Dining. This company is in charge of the school dining hall, as well as the staff of the three other dining areas: the Grill, Snax, and Nathan’s. It is always the same food that is served repeatedly, so most students choose to cook their own food at the “Wok it Up” station. Every day in the dining hall, students can choose from pizza, sushi, hamburgers, a salad bar, and one other main dish that rotates throughout the week. Many students look forward to Taco Tuesdays. There is only one vegan and one vegetarian option available per day in the dining hall, not including the salad bar.

To get into the dining hall, students must either pay $8.50, or they must use one of their few swipes. With the meal plan A, students get unlimited swipes in addition to $100 in flex money. Swipes do not work anywhere else on campus besides the dining hall. Students are given what is known as flex dollars, or money that can only be spent at the dining hall or at one of the other eateries. The amount you receive is either $100 or $200, depending on the plan.
