3 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather has been very cold and gross, walking around isn't super fun.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: the school offers great scholarships!

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: not really many options for off campus housing

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: not much nightlife goes on

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel very safe on campus, but not in the rest of Springfield

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: students can get kicked out if caught using drugs.

2 College Freshman

Transportation: students must have their own cars or get rides from friends

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Don't place importance on athletics

3 College Freshman

Weather: Missouri's weather is always changing. When it's nicer out, the campus is prettier.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Very diverse. Students from all across the world.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Lewis Hall is the couple farm of Evangel.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Prof. are encouraging. Frameworks are useless.

4 College Freshman

Majors: Some major require one and will help you find one.

4 College Freshman

Majors: Programs are prestigious and professors are helpful.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: School doesn't provide off-campus housing.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drug and alcohol use is prohibited, which is fine.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Not a whole lot to do but still fun.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Fun and involved but not a big deal.

4 College Freshman

Computers: WiFi sucks but there are many computer labs and free printing.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Look under every rock and stone for scholarships.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Me and a friend like to frequent The Cracker Barrel and Buffalo Wild Wings. There is a Sonic every few blocks which is a nice change the one I have at home which is 40+ minutes away. Those three places represent three different price ranges from cheap (Sonic), average (Cracker Barrel), and only-eat-when-you-have-money (BWW). But they're all great and the farthest (BWW) is only 10-15 minutes away.

College Freshman

Transportation: It is a small campus and does not need to provide transportation around the campus. Everything one could need on a day-to-day basis is within a mile or two of the school and is not hard to find someone who can drive if necessary.

Campus Housing: The wifi is terrible in the dorms and some days the shower needs to run 30+ minutes before it'll heat up but the dorms are great. In the 7 or 8 months I've been here I have only seen one spider in my room (well, actually in the shower). I also enjoy having suites so that the bathroom is shared only between two rooms rather than an entire floor. People are friendly and there are several places to go both on campus and around town for cheap. The cost is less than desirable but it's worth it.

College Sophomore

Diversity: There is a wide variety of ethnic groups and races. We have international students from a variety of countries. Rich and poor both attend the college. People from urban areas and farmers attend alike. We are a Christian college and uphold the standards of the Bible, so most students views, whether political, religious, or otherwise, would line up with the Bible.

College Sophomore

Drug Safety: One of the reasons to select a Christian school is to not worry about people trying to influence you with drugs and alcohol. The goals are to make your life count, get closer to God, and do what's best for your body. There is no room for drugs and alcohol in that equation. They just drag you down.
