Academic Flexibility: It's okay for now. It's my first year.

College Student

Career Services: I have not yet used these services.

Student Body: People come here to learn, not so much socialize.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: It is so hard to find one advisor that you are assigned with to talk to. Instead of talking to one person, they direct you to another person to talk to. Sometimes it can be stressful.

Career Services: There is a transferring specialist at my school that helps you transfer your credits to the school you choose to attend. They have a transferring department if you have any questions. We do have a career center where you can look for jobs and internships.

Facilities: My school does offer some academic programs. The honors program includes a lot of research and helps guide you into the right direction with your studies. They help you when you need help in your classes. The directors are there as support. The school also has some programs for specific majors, which is good because it narrows down your choices. There is no campus life other than clubs and activities the student center creates. It is a community/county college so, everyone commutes.

Student Body: The student body at my school is somewhat diverse. There are not only men or only women, there's both. There are different races and nationalities. There's a little bit of everything, but not as diverse as other schools are. My school is small so, there's not too many different people.

Academic Flexibility: I have two honors classes that I cannot move around. However, all my other classes are free for me to choose when I want to take them. I love that I am able to choose either morning or evening classes. I haven't had any frustrations with choosing my classes yet. When I do transfer my credits I will seek out the transferring specialist here at the school to help me with what I have to do.

Campus Resources: Although my school is small and we only have one computer lab, it's convenient. I do have a limit on how many pages I can print but anything free or at no cost to me is great. There are many computers available and printers in the computer lab. Only students from Essex County College are able to use these resources. I get on the internet quick and straight to what I have to get done. I have no problems with network reliability or the wireless access.

Campus Resources: Everything in the school is nearby. The library is not big and does not have that many books. However, it is a county college so when compared to a university, it is a big difference. On campus I am able to check out books or use online articles by asking the librarian about how to log on, etc. The student center has different foods and the school store has many awesome stuff, such as school sweaters, sweatpants, shirts, books, utensils.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is expensive for out of county students. However, it is one of the best county colleges in my state. If you take the right classes in order to graduate on time or at least in less than three years to obtain your associates degree, then it is your money's worth. You don't want to take remedial or extra classes. The tuition is supposed to increase so, then it will be bad. Raising tuition too much is bad because we won't be able to afford many classes or going there at all.

Tuition & Financial Aid: the financial aid is hard to get. there are so many qualifications. you have to be a full time student to receive it.i pay everything out of pocket and get no help

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had any problems with the flexibility with my classes. some teachers are hard to understand

4 College Junior

Facilities: here at ecc it is very multicultural. they have so many clubs and events going on that everyone is welcomed. professors are highly involved with a lot of these clubs and events. social wise it is very easy to make friends here. as long as you go out of your way the faculty would help you on their behalf

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: in the computer lab the internet is flawless. on phones and laptops the wifi isn't all that great. the printer always works and has ink. hasn't had any problems whenever I used it

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: the resources on campus are endless. they have solar panels outside so students could work outdoors. a few computer labs, security booths on every floor just about, wifi all over, cafeteria actually has pretty good food, game room to release some stress as well as a gym.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: so far as of now my specific major and other majors aren't too different here at ecc

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: they have a lot to offer here at ecc. not everyone qualifies for a lot of the help they have.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: online courses aren't that much different than being in class. the only difference is that you don't have a teacher to ask questions and other students to get help from.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I really don't take online classes but from what I've heard from people who take it's been a result of mixed opinions. some people love taking online courses because of flexibility but some don't like how its being run

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The diversity really is a big factor because you see student from all over the world and majority of them are hard workers that seize the opportunity that they are given.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Network wireless is slow and sometimes connection in certain location aren't available
