Career Services: Ive tried to transfer but its kind of hard because the school i want to attend is out of state

Student Body: People here are friendly but mostly everyone has a job so we don't get to know each other well but we don't have problems we just work harder

Campus Resources: The only outstanding part of ESCC's campus resources is the student center. It was recently built and it is quite nice.

Campus Resources: The wireless network at ESCC is terrible. Often the student network is down for no reason, the school's website often crashes, and when the Internet is up it is prohibitively slow.

Academic Flexibility: ESCC offers many ways to make the enrollment and financial aid options easier. The faculty advisers are available to help plan a schedule, as well as staff members whose jobs are solely to help schedule classes and find financial aid.

Student Body: This question is a perplexing one. The student body at ESCC is not static, it changes every semester, as with any school. It is essentially the same as any group of people, there are good people there and bad people. There are all kinds of religions represented (although Christianity is the most prevalent due to the school being located in Alabama) as well as ethnicities.

Overall Experience: High school was a rough time for me. The teachers were inept, the facility was sub-par, nobody really cared about what was going on. Initially I thought going to a state-college would be the same experience as high school. ESCC proved that isn't the case. The instructors care, they are good at their jobs, and they make sure that their students are treated well. ESCC's facility is average, the class selection is average, but the teachers make attending the school an absolute delight.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I find that the tuition and financial aid at ESCC are both average and straightforward. There are scholarships available for pretty much anyone at ESCC. There are full scholarships available for baseball players, basketball players, softball players, "WOW Team" members (the school's student-led initiation team), Scholars' Bowl members, singers, dancers, people who play musical instruments, the list goes on. If a student wants a scholarship then that student can probably find one.

Career Services: Any post-grad services provided by ESCC would apply to the EMT courses or aviation program, neither of which I have any experience with. Thus, I cannot comment on the quality.

Online Courses: Online courses are a waste of time in general. They are the epitome of the Zeitgeist surrounding attending school for a degree only. I've taken many online courses, and the instructors have all been great, but at the end of the day I was teaching myself. I do not pay for school to do online research. Online classes are great for racking up credits, but terrible for learning.

Academic Experience: I don't see why anyone would be anything but an English major at ESCC. Not because any of the other divisions are sub-par, but because the English division is so impressive. All of the teachers make their classes interesting and they all challenge their students to think in different ways. Very often classic literature is not the easiest or most fun read, but the teachers at ESCC make sure that it's entertaining to discuss and that even if their students did not understand what they were reading that they come away with an understanding of the material after discussing it in class.

Academic Experience: I don't know much about ESCC's real claim to fame which is their aviation program. However, I do know a great deal about most other programs at the school. The teachers all enjoy their courses and enjoy seeing a student learn. ESCC has recently adopted a new program called "SI' or "supplemental instruction." This program is a study system led by students. It offers students the opportunity to be tutored by accomplished students in order to improve their standing in a class.

Facilities: The thing that has painted ESCC in a positive way for me is the school's English division and Scholars' Bowl team. The school's English division is wonderful, the teachers are great and incredibly intelligent. When one of the teachers takes a liking to a student then they will go to bat for that student any time the student needs it. I've gotten in-school jobs and scholarships every semester after my first semester at ESCC due to the teachers referring me and letting me know about opportunities. The Scholars' Bowl program is the greatest organization I've ever been a part of. The coach is literally the most intelligent person I've ever met and I've learned more from that team than I have in some of my regular classes.

Facilities: The most unique thing about my campus is the staffs willingness to go far beyond what is expected to help a student,

Career Services: Since the State of Alabama works extremely closely with the Community Colleges here, we utilize one of the best Career Centers Ive ever seen.

Academic Experience: It is okay because my school is more of a tech school. It does not offer many opportunities for biology majors like a school that is anchored towards medical and biology fields.

Academic Experience: The academics are okay they are not to demanding or hard. They offer many classes but they are not classes that will get me through the medical training field that is why I plan to transfer to finish my schooling.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education is well worth the price of tuition. The fee per hour is very reasonable, especially for this area, which is a moderately poor area of the country. The financial aid they offer is very good, and is given when it is most needed.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition cost is very good but there are few scholarship opportunities.

Campus Resources: There are plenty of places to work on computers. only sometimes there are issues with the internet.

Campus Resources: there are only a handful of clubs and not much student life around campus.Although between classes there are many people to talk to and hangout with.
