3 College Senior

Drug Safety: Most of the students don't take part in drug use, but the ones that do, I don't associate with, I have only heard through the grapevine.

2 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There isn't much of a selection here for students or the community.

4 College Senior

Greek Life: I think that our greek life system is a great way to meet new people, but it isn't for everyone.

3 College Senior

Transportation: I feel like there is more that can be provided for students that live on campus for transportation to other places around Emporia that aren't within walking distance.

3 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: It has gotten better over the course of the 8 years that I have been here, but there are some aspects that really need work!

3 College Senior

Diversity: I feel like there could be more promotion for events and the events themselves that are more geared towards students that are minorities.

4 College Senior

Athletics: Just over the past couple of years because of winning seasons, people have started to show more pride for the ESU sports teams. The facilities that are used by athletes aren't used by the other students on campus. Our facilities need up keep and haven't had any in a while, but that is probably due to lack of funding.

5 College Senior

Health & Safety: Our campus is very safe. I have never felt unsafe, other than I am scared of the dark so my guard is up everywhere when it is dark, but they have everything really well lit.

4 College Senior

Weather: It's the state of Kansas. The weather is always iffy. One minute it is snowing and 10 degrees outside, the next it is a bright and sunny day in the 80's.

4 College Senior

Nightlife: Most of the bars in Emporia have great variety. Some are for younger students that still like to party, and some are more relaxed which draw in the older crowd of students such as graduate students.

4 College Senior

Computers: I think that the computers on campus are good computers although not all the computers have what you need on them. They are equipped with Microsoft office.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: I have had to appeal my amount that I have gotten for graduate school every year because I haven't gotten enough money to afford my tuition, fees, bills, and other expenses. I am a full time graduate student and I work two part time jobs to get myself through school.

3 College Student

Campus Strictness: Not a lot happens on campus

4 College Student

Athletics: Most of the students are involved

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: A lot of the teachers have very strict attendance policies.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have never worried about walking alone on campus. Campus security is always patrolling and we have phones set up around campus to use in case of an emergency.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: We have so many events to bring students of all different backgrounds together!

College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I haven't been to a party here yet. I just hear about people drinking.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I've never been to a sporting event but really want to. The recreation center had pretty nice equipment for people to use.

2 College Sophomore

Computers: The wife is terrible and I never know where to find the computer labs.

4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Everyone is really nice to each other. They are always looking to recruit.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are some random family owned restaurants but it's mostly chain fast food restaurants.

College Sophomore

Transportation: I have never used the public transportation here.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I love the program that I'm in and wouldn't want to be in anything else. I hope to teach drama and debate in a high school setting. The need for someone in this field isn't completely necessary so finding a job is kind of a concern.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: The course load is about normal.
