Parking: Parking passes themselves are expensive and beyond that it's difficult to even find a parking spot near where you want to go.

2 College Freshman

Parking: Parking on campus is expensive and not very convenient. However, you need a car for Atlanta!

Parking: Finding free parking is a struggle and paying for parking is 600 a semester

Parking: Parking is a pain. The yearly pass is well over 700 at this point, parking in some "unmarked" spot is risky, there are boot-ers all over the place and common areas- even local restaurants. Your best bet though is to pay for the parking, or leave your car off campus and use the emory shuttles.

Parking: Parking on campus it actually pretty great. There are plenty of places to park near the dorms, and everything is close enough so you wont need to drive anywhere on campus anyway. But since the campus is in Atlanta is pretty convenient to just be able to drive where you need to go.

Parking at Emory is pretty frustrating. Freshmen are unable to have cars on campus, but this doesn't pose much of a problem for them because freshman housing is almost always within walking distance of anywhere on campus. Students are able to have cars after freshman year, but the costs sometimes outweigh the benefits, depending on where you live.

While there are several student parking decks on campus, they are very inconveniently located, and a permit to park in one of these locations is extremely overpriced. The most convenient parking areas are the fraternity parking lots, but you must have a permit to park here as well. There are several spots near the DUC, by Zaya's, and by the WoodPEC that are great spots if you are lucky enough to find one or clever enough to park in one without getting ticketed. If you do so happen to get lucky and park without getting a ticket, do not push your luck, as Emory's parking enforcement is ridiculously strict and unforgiving. If you are able to cough up the money needed to purchase the expensive parking permit, parking becomes much easier but not necessarily more convenient for these reasons.
