5 College Junior

Computers: They are great. Mac desktops throughout the campus

5 College Freshman

Computers: We have many computers in the library, and the library also has laptops and iPads to rent out for a whole day, as well as chargers for these devices. I think overall access to any form of electronic devices is excellent.

2 College Sophomore

Computers: The biggest complaints most people have towards the internet is how slow it can become and how frequently it drops. This kind of stuff should not be happening at a major university, especially one of this magnitude.

4 College Senior

Computers: Emory has those nice macs but you have to be lucky to get anywhere in Cox hall, but there's never a time where you CANT get a computer. People just like to throw bookbags and books to reserve spots and then run off.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Computers are good, but internet can be unreliable and spotty.

Emory's state-of-the-art facilities contain many top-notch computers available for student use. Most computers on campus give students the convenient option of choosing a PC or Mac operating system, creating a more user-friendly experience. There is a plethora of computers located in all the major buildings on campus, such as the DUC, Cox, and the library.

For the most part, there are usually a few computers available in each of these labs, although Cox does usually fill up during the afternoon. The solution to this problem would be to have your own laptop, which many students do. Emory's network connection is for the most part very strong and accessible on all ends of campus. Cox contains many computer workplaces for students and group work. There are also several computer hubs that include cushions and pillows for students' comfort while working. Cox is also home to the IT department, which fixes any computer issues a student might have.
