Campus Housing: Living on campus is good. Like other colleges, it does depend on where you live. A new dorm was built during the 2012-13 school year, called Hickory, and is very eco-friendly. Upperclassmen are usually going to be in the dorms Hickory or Elm (which is right next to it) since these are the newest and nicest dorms. There are many other dorms to choose from, and they are all really close to classes since EHC is a smaller campus than others. Emory & Henry is a private college, which means that it is not cheap to come here, but the quality of education is worth it. The housing process is done by your college credit ranking (sophomore, junior, senior, 5th year) and a person is given a random number in their ranking category. You must have a roommate picked out before the room draw day or else you'll be put to the bottom no matter your number.

Campus Housing: Upperclassman Dorms Are Pretty Great – The freshman dorms at Emory and Henry College are not very good, but the Upperclassman dorms are pretty amazing. One of the best upperclassman dorms is almost like a hotel.

2 College Junior

Campus Housing: Could Be a Lot Better – With the addition of the new dorm (2010) the grade went up from about a D. Residence halls are no way modern and the atmosphere feels like the dark ages. Community bathrooms are the norm except for the new dorm. The parking for the dorms is very bad as well.
