3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: It's just like any other college but most students know to leave campus instead of taking the risk on campus.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Emory is very particular about certain things such as drugs and alcohol but they are not as strict about other things

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: it isnt too bad if you know what you are doing......

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: would like a little more variety for people that dont like fast food

Greek Life: At Emory, the Greeks are all viewed as normal people. Since Emory is such a small college, our fraternities and sororities aren't known nationally. They affect the social atmosphere just like a normal student would. The Greeks live in normal housing like normal students, or they rent their own apartments.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: The Off-Campus dining is average. We have to drive 9 exits away to Abingdon to get to a few fast food places and a few sit-down restaurants. If you really want a good meal, you have to drive all the way to Bristol, which is 19 exits away. None of these places have student discounts, unfortunately. But as far as variety goes, Bristol has a lot of places to dine at.

3 College Freshman

Parking: Parking availability and convenience is somewhat limited.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I love my program and my professors! Most of my professors help to make the program interesting and challenging!

5 College Freshman

Majors: Love studying International Business. I plan to graduate and continue my study abroad.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Privacy means a lot! Noise level on campus makes it hard to study at times.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: The professors are invested in their students and know what they're talking about. With a degree from Emory, you can be sure you will become very successful.

2 College Freshman

Nightlife: There are a lot of parties off campus, but no bars.

3 College Freshman

Majors: At times the mathematics department's requirements seem a bit daunting, but I see the worth of it. Great for preparing students, despite being very difficult.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I always feel safe. Most students are respectful, and don't do stupid things. When they are stupid they don't affect others

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It was easy for me to obtain my scholarship as an incoming freshman. However, I haven't been impressed with how the aid is distributed after my first year in terms of additional scholarships.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Campus security tends to look the other way when students drink. It makes me a little uneasy.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking for commuters is really difficult during the day. But early in the morning and late at night it's relatively easy to find good spots.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The places to eat are your typical fast food restaurants within a 10-20 minute drive.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The places to stay off campus are hard to obtain unless you are an upperclassman.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Social Life – The girls are trendy dressers. Most of the guys dress comfortably. There are many social groups for all people on campus. There's something there for everyone.

4 College Freshman

Parking: Emory and Henry is a small campus - therefore, if it is raining, you have to walk to your classes in the rain. Also, the school makes residents of Hillman Hall move their cars on Homecoming or a football game.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: I really enjoy the relationship with the people on my floor. We get along great.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: I live in Stewart and it is a old building. Everything functions properly, but outdated rooms. Could use a paint job?

College Freshman

Majors: I am a freshman, so getting into my course of study isn't choice right now. I am majoring in Athletic Training and later will apply to the Physical Therapy program.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: My mom likes it better than I do. But, I'm a freshman and trying to get used to things around campus. It is a nice, clean town, and easy to get around from place to place.
