Athletics: I'm not much of a sports fan, but I always say that if the teams were better, then I would be more inclined to attend the games.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Sports games are fun if you get into the excitement. Our football team good be better.

3 College Junior

Athletics: I am thankful that Elon is mainly a Basketball and Baseball school since those are two sports I love. I hope our Football team fact I think everyone hopes they improve.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Depending on the sport, the school spirit is more intense than others. It's no Penn State, but is still enjoyable if you need something to do.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Athletics at Elon are in no way comparable to large state schools, but I have found every varsity sporting event that I've been to really enjoyable. It's a really fun atmosphere.

Intramural and club sports are very big on campus, probably bigger than many varsity sports. Elon offers 17 varsity sports and 21 intramural and club sports. Being an NCAA Division I School in the Southern Conference has helped Elon’s reputation grow, especially in men’s varsity baseball and football.

A good percentage of students play either varsity, intramural, or club sports at some point in their college careers. Popular varsity sports are baseball, football, cross-country, and women’s volleyball.

School Spirit
The best way to see school spirit is going to games. The football team has improved over the years, and the tailgates before football games are where you will see preppy Elon at its finest. Homecoming weekend, especially, is full of alumni and current students in their sundresses and button downs with bow ties. The baseball games are also pretty packed because the varsity team is probably the best at Elon. Greek pride is everywhere; on "letter shirt Tuesdays" you will find everyone sporting their Greek pins and apparel.
Getting Tickets
Students get in free with their Phoenix ID card. For non-students, tickets are easy to get as long as you visit the ticket office before any of the games; single game tickets cost $18 for stadium seating and $15 for grass seating. Season passes usually range from $90-$105, and parking passes are usually about $30.
