4 College Freshman

Computers: Easy to access. Only crowded during the day, so easy to go at night if live on campus

4 College Junior

Computers: There's many computer labs available. Sometimes the internet is slow but for the most part it is great! There is no need for a personal printer. Also, there is no need for a personal computer unless you prefer to take notes on your laptop.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer labs sometimes can have computer break downs but if you bring your own lab top that won't be a problem. Also don't always rely on the networks capabilities. They can also shut down inside dorm rooms or shut down completely for hours at a time on some days.

3 College Junior

Computers: The main problem I have with the computers at this school is that they are in somewhat short supply, as there are really two places you can go to use a computer. Besides that the computers are in need of an update, as many perform slowly even when trying to complete simple tasks such as typing out documents.

4 College Freshman

Computers: Computers are very useful at Elmhurst, there is one third of student who do not own a computer and are allowed to have a school laptop for the whole semester which is cool. there are many computer labs, where student can go and do some homework, sometimes those computer labs are full, but you can go in other department to use the computers and still be successful. So computer aren't a big deal you can walk from places to places and still find some computers available. Internet connection are wonderful. it is easy to get connect and the school have wifi everywhere and it also provide students with sophos protection. What else can you ask from a school? i think the computers there and the internet connection are available to whom wan to use it.

There appears to be a computer for every student at Elmhurst. The library has more than 70 computers, while Daniels Hall has around the same amount. The College’s computers are fast, reliable, and all are hooked up to a printer. Black-and-white printing is free, and there’s a small fee for colored ink. Most of the computers are PCs, but there are a few Macs in the library.

Each dorm is equipped with wireless Internet. The connection speed depends on a student’s location in the dorm, but there are also non-wireless hook ups in each dorm, which are faster in most cases. Wireless printers don’t usually work because students have to enter their access code—it’s a one-time deal, so students don’t have to log in every time—to access the wireless Internet on a computer or device, so make sure you can manually hook up your laptop. Students can log in up to three devices to their wireless account, but they have to be able to access a web browser. If they don’t have a web browser, they can always be manually hooked up. If students have any problems they can always use the tech help, which is useful and free.
