Athletics: Our "gym" is shared with the elementary school nearby as a lunch room and our work out room is about the size of 3 dorm rooms put together and there is not much equipment for anyone but athletes to use. It sucks if some athletes are using it because it leaves nothing for the rest of us to use. School spirit is good but not many people go to games just because it can get so crowded in our small gym .

Health & Safety: We have posts for people to press a button if they would like an escort from a campus officer. I have never felt threatened or uncomfortable walking on my campus at night or during the day. I always have felt safe on Edgewood's campus.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I do not live off campus. I live on campus right now so I would not know the specifics for living off campus.

Majors: There are many requirements for majors, however the counselors and professors help make sure you get all the requirements in so you can proceed in your major. The challenges are trying to get a certain amount of volunteer hours for my major, but also getting class work done and getting good grades, while also balancing a job.

Majors: The people in my program are great and dedicated. The upper classes are willing to help you figure out what to do and how to do it. The program also sets you up for the internship that is required for a year to get your degree.

Nightlife: Edgewood is in walking distance of State Street, the party street of Madison, so the nightlife is great for Edgewood!

Overall Experience: The class sizes are perfect. The most people I have in my classes I think is 23 people. I can build a relationship with everyone in my class and the professors know me by my name. I am able to talk with them one on one about assignments and even personal issues. The staff is absolutely amazing!

Overall Experience: I am going for child life which is an up and coming major. So far Edgewood has a 99% student placement in internships for this program. That is amazing and leads most students to their job once they complete the internship.

Campus Housing: The dorm rooms at Edgewood college are so spacious and big that you feel you have your own space even though you are sharing it with 2 other people. They are air conditioned making it comfortable and they do not have community bathrooms in many of their dorms which is always a perk.

Campus Strictness: The campus strictness is pretty high at our school. This though allows students academics to be as high as they can because our school wants the students to focus on what's important

College Sophomore

Greek Life: We at Edgewood do not have any Greek Life for our campus, however you can join the University of Wisconsin if you would like.

Diversity: We have so many exchange students and transfer students that the diversity on campus is astounding. Everyone accepts everyone on this campus.

Facilities: Student life is always different. Because many of the students are from the Madison area, many students go home on weekends so the student life can be quite quiet. But at the same time we are in the heart of Madison so there is always something going on downtown! Edgewood has some great study spots since we are directly on a lake. The boardwalk is the most peaceful spot for doing some studying.

Drug Safety: Most people drink underage but it never feels like an unsafe environment

Academics: I feel that there are not very many activities that have to do with my major

Campus Strictness: I am fine with it because I am one to follow the rules but a lot of people hate how strict it is

Computers: Most of the technology here is pretty reliable except for the wifi that connects and disconnects randomly

Campus Housing: The buildings are newer and most everyone gets along with an exception here and there for some people. Costly too.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: A lot of people go out and party on the weekends as this is a party town but I am not the party type so I do not go out.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I have only been able to take one class towards my major so far because of how fast the classes fill up and I was one of the last that were allowed to register.

College Freshman

Majors: I am not sure yet about the internships because I have not heard anything about them yet

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I wanted to play baseball but decided not to just out of my own preference to not get into it in college. Intramurals are great. More people play them than in the regular sports that the school offers.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I do not know much about it yet since I have not lived off-campus but according to people who have/are they are not too bad.

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining is alright. A lot better than on-campus. We don't get any discounts though for being students. Most places deliver to our dorm which is very convenient. Overall I am satisfied but wish it was better for what the costs are since we are in college and can not spend very much.
