College Sophomore

Career Services: I do not have any experience in this area.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The teachers vary. Some teachers are very strict about class attendance, participation, and assignments. Most, however, are willing to listen to questions and will often excuse tardiness, late assignments, etc. if the reason is good.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Some classes are very easy. Only a few classes have truly challenged me. I would say that the work could be harder.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Class registration is very simple. The advisers are all extremely helpful. The faculty genuinely cares for the students.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Truly, EWVCTC is an extremely welcoming school. Everyone has a place here. the students are friendly. There is some diversity and I've never felt discrimination.

5 College Sophomore

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: My career study is great. I have had no trouble getting in to any of my classes. They have everything i need here.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: i have had no trouble at all. The staff has been very helpful as well as my peers.

1 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Unfortunately, a lot of the schools computers are extremely slow. It very wise for a student to provide his or her own computer.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There are quite a bit of study resource in the resource center. Also I can find different community activities to sign up for in the resource center.

1 College Freshman

Online Courses: Some of the teachers that teach online classes are a little too lenient. Some of my teachers forget to post weekly quizzes. Furthermore, some teachers take a long time to answer e-mails; sometimes they neglect to reply to e-mails.

1 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The school is very small. Therefore, it does not have many student activities, libraries, quiet places to study. In addition, there is no dining area. On the plus side, since this school is small the classes are small. That means more one on one study time and tutoring with professors.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: All of the staff have been very helpful. I was able to get all of my classes around my full-time work schedule. The tuition is the cheapest I could find and I love the friendly atmosphere.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: The students here are very approachable and willing to help their classmates. A lot of them are working parents like me, so they understand that I'm here to learn. I have met a lot of people who are willing to help me study.

5 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: The networking system is great. Wifi is always available to the students anywhere on campus. Also they have a nice computer lab that any student/staff can use at any time. This is great for students who do not have computer/printing access at home.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because it is small and the staff seem very concerned about the students. Because they offer live classes all times of the day plus online classes, their hours are very flexible. Flexible hours is a must for many people who work full time and/or have children. Therefore I highly recommend Eastern on their flexibility.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: My advisor Deb Backus does a very good job of working with me to ensure I get what I need and can work classes around my work schedule. She is very knowledgeable. The teachers are very good about helping the students. Some teachers are more strict than others about missing class for work and things like that.

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Which Level of Algebra? Halfway through my Intermediate Algebra class, I found out that it was not a transferable class, but one level below transferable. I was pretty peeved, since I easily could have handled the College Algebra. It felt like I had wasted an entire semester in math. I have to admit though, the class was awesome! So it turned out alright after all.
