Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm only taking two classes due to my financial aide but I'm not stressing because I know my degree will help me in my career. The financial process is very good at the ESCC though. The education I'm getting is well worth it don't get me wrong, I just know wish I had a heads up on the financial aide information.

Academic Experience: I've just started college and I'm a medical social work major, and my classes as of right are basically just general studies. I haven't made it as far as taking classes based on my major but I'll soon get there. The workload is fair, I haven't reached the hard part just yet.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: I wish the professors were more involved and detailed oriented when it comes to the discussions and work that we have.

Student Body: My school consists of a huge variety of students of all races and a lot are parents (moms or dads) that want to further their education. We accept other races the same way we accept Americans. there is no discrimination here. were al here to learn and get respected as individuals and not by our race or color. People here are friendly and willing to help!

Campus Resources: We have some activities here but not a whole lot for athletics. Our library here is excellent. They provide labtops and desk computers for students to use and are easily accessible. Also the research material such as books and dictionaries are good. They are starting to incorporate electronic books in the library so students can easily read on the computer instead of reading a hardback book. Our student center is okay. sometimes there is a wait.

Campus Resources: At ESCC there is no printing cost..we only have a copying cost of 10 cent per page which is cheap here. I love the computer labs here and the network is fast. We have wireless access here both on the computers and on our phones if you have a smartphone. Sometimes we have problems with the printers but there is a technical support man here and he fixes all our problems.

Online Courses: Online courses allow students to do course online which is a big help because there is no need to drive to the campus and take your classes so it saves money. Also some people learn better by online classes and some learn by in school classes. I personally like in school classes because I learn better but ESCC's online classes are excellent and easily functional.

Campus Resources: My school works together with Star Transit which is a bus transportation unit. The star transit has certain pick up stations and will drive students to and from the college if they don't have personal transportation.

Campus Resources: We have a basketball court and a volleyball net, we also have a foose ball table. We have a student lounge where students go to hangout before, and after class. We have picnic tables and benches outside. We have a lots of grassy areas, if someone wanted to start a football, soccer, or baseball game. We have a library, and student have access to a large data base of online library. There are about 10 clubs including a Photography, Student Government, FBLA(a business club, PTK(National Honors Society), Green, among others.

Online Courses: The online classes are each unique in their own way. Some professor send out emails to remind me of deadline, and some teachers make powerpoints. There are some classes that require discussion board. The discussion boards can be nice they allow you to interact with your peers, while also getting to know them and their opinions. There are deadline so though it's at your own pace you do have to plan ahead.

Academic Experience: Professors will help those who help themselves, they will teach the class but if you want extra help you should show you care to pass this class. Curriculum selection is much bigger in the fall and spring, though there are summer classes. There are online classes also, there is normally at least two different times per class to work with people's schedules. Most classes are on Mon- Thurs. though there are Fri and Sat classes. Most classes are twice a week though there are a few classes that are once a week. There is a tutoring place to help people with writing, and math.

Academic Experience: I was working towards becoming a Registered Nurse and my classes were what I needed to prepare for the major. The Anatomy and Physiology was in my opinion the most difficult class to get through, but with enough hard work I made it through. The first year consisted of prerequisites including 2 English classes, a psychology class, ethics, and of course A & P along with others.

1 College Junior

Student Body: Only a handful of students are involved in the school, most of the students attend class then go home. It feels like high school and it is a lot harder to make friends. There are no sports teams and not many clubs to join.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have gotten a decent education and with the pell grant I have only had to pay for one year. I work full time along with going to school so it has been money well spent.

College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm at a community college so I can't really take classes focusing on my major. I Have completed just about all the history classes they offer which was nice but they didn't go into as much depth as I would have liked.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: my classes consist of older people and new high school graduates

4 College Freshman

Student Body: The student body is very diverse. I tend to stay to myself sometimes but there are times when you meet someone interesting and you just feel entitled to talk to them

Campus Resources: The computer network on campus can be a bit annoying sometimes. When I have my laptop on campus, the network can be a bit slow but when im on the computers provided on campus have excellent network service

Campus Resources: Even though this is a community college, you tend to meet a few interesting people. Another unique thing about the campus is the scenery and the variety of restaurants near the school. Which is perfect for it you have breaks in between classes.

Campus Resources: The campus library is excellent. Whenever I dont have my laptop on campus, Im able to use the computers in the library. The library provides quiet spaces for me so that I can study properly and quietly.

Career Services: Fantastic new Medical section to the college. New hospital is scheduled to be built in the next 2 yrs just few miles from the ESCC. I believe the Comm College is preparing its students for careers in the new facility.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexiblity – I have been able to take the classes I needed into an excellent schedule to work around my work schedule and having Fridays off. This helps with my gas expenses and allows me an extra day to work to help save for my college expenses and living expenses for now and later. Transferring my credits to this Comm. College from High School and from the comm. college to a 4 year college has been a breeze with the help of the college adviser.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Great experience with Financial aid assistance. Education and staff at the Community College have been fantastic. Tuition is very affordable.

Overall Experience: My experience at school has been wonderful. All the teachers and office staff has been there with help when ever asked. I was very nervous going back to school at 42, but everyone made me feel i could do this and They would be there for me when I needed them.
