Online Courses: I like the flexibility of online learning. The classes are very easy which may be detrimental in the long run. All of my online instructors have been very fair in grading and I feel they've done a pretty good job balancing their attention between their online course students and their real world students. The online discussion boards are often more interesting than the in class discussions because everyone is required to participate

Academic Flexibility: Like everything else in life it's hit or miss. Sometimes you will deal with friendly people who are very knowledgeable and committed to helping you out. Other times you will deal with work studies who seem more interested in there own business rather than doing there jobs. The classes you might want aren't offered every semester. Some are offered in spring others are offered in fall; so that is sometimes frustrating.

Career Services: This is a great assumption on my part. I have never used the campuses career resource center. I don't really expect that my job prospects will be much better when i complete my degree than when i started my education here. However, i don't blame the college exclusively for this. I affix blame more to a weak local economy than too the quality of education provided by the college. As I said before though having never worked with the career resource center i can't really offer an honest opinion.

Campus Resources: The campus is cozy; it isn't too large and I don't have too walk miles between classes. The library is decent and usually abandoned which is good for people who like to study with minimal interference. The campus doesn't have a lot of groups and they don't do a stellar job advertising the groups that hey do have.

Academic Experience: I'm a criminal justice major. The workload isn't too bad which may actually be a bad thing in the long run. I feel like a lot of courses that aren't affiliated with my major are required though. The facilities aren't state of the art but there not out dated. my major doesn't require an internship and the college will only help those who want a job to find one. A lot of that involves relationships the student develops with instructors rather than a dedicated effort on the part of the college

Academic Experience: It's primarily a two year university; however more classes are being offered every semester and four year degrees are becoming available. My university primarily deals with nursing and aviation, a strange combination that exists because of the proximity of Walker airfield and Dean Baldwin Aircraft Painting to the college. Our nursing program is decent from what I've heard, but being a criminal justice major; I really wouldn't know

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is reasonable; i'd say it's one of the most affordable colleges in the nation. However, my one major sticking point is on your bill the college charges required fees and makes no attempt to explain what those fees are or why they are required. The managers of the financial aid office are very good at what they do. However, the work studies that you will most likely talk to one the phone are hit and miss.

Student Body: The student body at my school is a uniform group of individuals that share a certain set of beliefs inherited from the area in which they inhabit. The majority of the student body is Hispanic, with a a strong Caucasian presence; very few people of other ethnicity attend. It seems to me that the average student at my school is either politically unaffiliated or middle of the road and tends to lean towards the right.

Overall Experience: I really liked this school because most things were easy to understand and sign up for. I would choose this college because if a person had not know what field of study they would like to go into, they do not have to spend so much money to do so.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Some of the needed classes of the field of study a person has to go through is outreaching and seems unnecessary for the field. The professors for those classes though are very helpful and understand what they are trying to teach to every student.

Overall Experience: The way to get an internship is to talk to the director of the field of study the person is in, but it is very easy to get the internship. There is no alumni network. To become a work study is quite easy but it just might not be the job that was accepted.

Campus Resources: There is a small gym at the university, a very resourceful library, and a few campus activities.

Online Courses: With the online courses the professor/student relationship is very different then in class. There can be no procrastination on online because it take the teachers sometimes 24 hours to get back to any questions that might have been asked.

Academic Experience: The teacher in my field was very helpful and knowledgeable. The workload was kinda heavy but with help from others and the teacher it could be done on time. The curriculum was very easy to follow and the internship that was needed was fairly easy to get because the instructor helped out in trying to find a place for us.

Academic Experience: The class registration process was very easy to go through even if you wanted to take more the 18 credit hours where they need to Dean's signature. The workload can be very stressful if you don't like to do homework but it all can be done by the due date if there is no procrastination. There are many study options available and many places to have them.

Career Services: The career center was only helpful if the person knew what their degree was going to be.

5 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office was very helpful in knowing what is needed to be filled out and what scholarships I could get.

3 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: Some students like to help but others like to just keep to themselves.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: When I could not attend a certain class the teacher would give me other times I could attend the same class. It was very helpful.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aide process is very easy when applying for it. It's sometimes hard when they keep calling for more information to finish the application process. After all is said and done though it goes through pretty fast.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: It's very easy attending my school because they offer a wide variety of things. I'm able to choose when my classes will be without any problems and if I can't attend school they offer plenty of online classes.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is so much offered at my school. There's access to a gym, sports center, swimming pool, computer lab and lots more. There's always something open to.

3 College Senior

Student Body: I am more of a shy person so I don't interact much with other students.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I love my degree program. The teachers are great and the program gives me a wide variety of choices to choose from when it comes to classes

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Class registration is real easy and I never have to worry about not getting the class I want.
