4 College Freshman

Scholarships: They have a great attitude towards people receiving scholarships and it seems to me that they give fairly generously. I had an issue transferring in where my GPA sunk below the 3.5 mark they had initially offered me and they still gave me the highest aid available for transfer students without concern.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: You have to fight for the aid you want. They have scholarships but you have to ask a lot for them.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: It was very rough, I had to take out many loans and they wouldn't really give me any money except for my SAT scores. They won't even raise that scholarship even though my GPA is outstanding. But they give scholarships to people who don't even care about their courses and their schoolwork and don't even show up to class. Just because they are more ethnically diverse than me. Well, my family is poor, my dad is a pastor and I have three brothers who also have to go to school and I work very very hard in school so I can get a degree that will actually make money so I can help send my brothers to school, but I have to pay out of my own pocket because they decided to give an extra 10,000 dollars to another student who has to leave school because his grades are too low.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They really don't give out that much financial aid. A lot of people cant afford school and this school expensive and we get no help. They would have more people if it were more financially manageable.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I received a fair amount financial aid from my school, but it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. It was a hassle going from one financial aid advisor to another trying to get my financial aid together, but in the end it worked out. My advice would be to figure out what you need before you set up and appointment so everything works out for the best.
