4 College Senior

Diversity: There actually is a lot of diversity on campus, but it's like every other campus where people don't hang out with others who are different from them.

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: This school focuses on diversity as a welcomed and appreciated aspect.

2 College Sophomore

Diversity: There isn't a lot of diversity on campus and most people who are in those groups are not discriminated against others. The religion is really smothering and most are Mennonites.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: EMU has a greatly diverse student body. There are many international students, and lots of activities, scholarships, and programs specifically designed for Third-Culture Kids, Missionary Kids, and International students. While it is very diverse, everyone is also very accepting of everyone despite their personal political or religious beliefs. EMU is just under 50% Mennonite, but many other religions are represented there. I am not Mennonite and felt very welcome here.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Its All About Ratios – we have a very small population, so our international population is small, also. but i would say it is average, on a student to student scale. Lots of groups that stick together, but a feeling of cohesiveness (bc of size)
