4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The academics are to be expected at a community college. The college has a lot of different programs, although it could have more. There are a lot of groups to study with, and the workload isn't too bad, depending on the professor. The professors are pretty awesome. The class registration process is straight to the point and very easy to accomplish.

Student Body: The student body is so awesome. Everyone accepts everyone else just as they are. I have quite a few friends. I love living on campus, because it lets me "spread my social wings".

Tuition & Financial Aid: My school's tuition is fine, however I don't have the money to actually complete school without having scholarships. They have told us that the financial aid is easy, and it seems to be, but I can't seem to get through a semester without taking out a loan. Scholarships deny me, because I am not active enough in community service. However, they don't know my family and how we struggle. I just wish I could find a scholarship that will accept me so I don't have to keep taking out loans.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not graduated college yet, so I feel as though that I don't have the right to rate something I haven't done yet. From what my friends tell me, it is a quick process. From personal experience though, I've only graduated from high school.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Its all about the people and the service I receive. I have not been let down in anything that I have wanted to do. the staff and students are what has made emcc the best for me

Academic Experience: The curriculum, class registration process and everything else above is great.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am working with a bunch of great people in my major and we work together and I think we are gonna do great things once we graduate

College Junior

Facilities: I usually only use the success center so I can't really comment on anything else.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The student success center is a great place to get help from other students as well as tutors and other instructors.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: the network reliability and access to computers is awesome. never have had a problem getting access to one.

College Junior

Student Body: I don't really hang out with the student body

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Sometimes I feel as if the refund checks should come sooner rather than later.

College Junior

Online Courses: I have not taken any on line courses, therefore I can not rate.

4 College Student

Academic Experience: From my experiences at Eastern Maine Community College so far almost all the the professors have been quite kind and unafraid to offer extra help. I have learned a lot from most of my classes and if I had a question about my schedule never had trouble finding someone to answer it. The new Student Success Center is an amazing resource and has helped me and my classmates a lot.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: I am currently a Liberal Studies Major so the classes are pretty ordinary but the college success course given in new student's first semester is a great way for Liberal Studies students to get help if they intend on changing their major later on in their academic career.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The campus does not have a reliable wireless network for iPods, laptops, kindles, or any other electronic device. Sometimes it will shut off for no reason and make you sign in again. It is inconvenient for me. Computer labs are readily available for any student. Printing for me was rare. I probably only printed 15 sheets out of my 350 sheet limit.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Liberal Studies was a fun major. It was relaxed and easy-going.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I loved my professors I had in the Fall of 2013. They worked closely with me and everyone in my class. They were able to reschedule and accommodate to my needs and circumstances. I appreciated every one of my professors and their efforts in helping me learn efficiently in a comfortable environment.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: EMCC is a flexible and convenient college that works around my schedule. The course load is average and is within reasonable means that accommodate to my personal life.

4 College Junior

Facilities: EMCC is a diverse college and offers students to experience the different social interactions that come with meeting many people of different religion and race.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I am proud to say that Eastern Maine Community College offers a close-knit community full of willing and focused students and seeks to help its students in every way possible to guarantee success.
