4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: there is a party almost every day at eiu. however, they can be a lot of fun when you dont go to one all the time because after awhile it gets old & boring & youre always seeing the same poeple, listening to the same music, doing the same dance moves & eating the same food. the parties that the greeks throw are most defintely something worth going to. the party scene has an average affect on the student experience. some students are for going to parties all the time being "too turnt up" to go to class while others will go but not frequently, basically it depends on the person as an individual

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I don't really care for the house parties anymore, I guess I grew out of that my freshman year. It is too hot for me and i just don't enjoy going to them. The bars are way better than the house parties, etc. transportation is more so walking to a lot of students on campus because of the drinking that occurs.

3 College Senior

Nightlife: Not alot of bars or that big of parties. But if you have connections then you could find something every night for ones self.

College Freshman

Nightlife: There isn't a lot to do in the area so most people go out to the bars but you have to be 21 in order to get in. Other people party at friend's houses or apartments.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I am unsure about the nightlife. I have heard that a lot of good parties are held at houses or apartments. I also know that there are several bars around campus that are very popular.
