Scholarships: There are scholarships available in almost every major. Students just need to remember to apply for the scholarships. The employees in the financial aid office are helpful. The employees in the financial aid office can direct students to the resources they need.

Local Atmosphere: I could see myself living here after graduation if I find a job in the area. The university has a good relationship with the community. There is a nice state park near by as well as a nice city park.

4 College Junior

Weather: The weather can be surprising here. One day it will be raining and the next it will be sunny and beautiful, especially in the spring. The weather can change quickly. Some winters have been worse than others. Overall, the weather is pretty pleasant.

4 College Junior

Diversity: This school has a lot of diversity. The school encourages acceptance of that diversity with different programs and activities. It was interesting to meet friends with different views than me when I first came here.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: There are a few bars withing walking distance of campus. The bars are careful about checking identification. There are shuttles students can use for transportation.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: Students can have plenty of fun on campus without taking part in drugs and alcohol.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I am not a part of Greek life. The Greeks I have met are friendly. Some of my close friends decided to become part of Greek life. I'm not sure of the condition of the chapter houses.

4 College Junior

Academics: The professors are friendly and helpful. The professors are willing to spend time to talk to students individually before or after classes or during their office hours. The professors are also very knowledgeable in their fields. The advisers are helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum is rigorous but enjoyable.

Off-Campus Dining: There is a healthy amount of variety among the off-campus restaurants. Several restaurants are within walking distance from campus. There are fast food chains as well as more formal restaurants. The cost of the food at the restaurants is reasonable. Some of the restaurants have a delivery option which makes them convenient.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel safe walking alone on campus and in the dorms. Campus police officers are a visible presence.

1 College Freshman

Majors: my majors program was awful. they require me to have it as a minor but consider it a major

1 College Freshman

Majors: never done it but heard negative things about it so idk

3 College Freshman

Computers: technology wise it's really good and the fact that we don't have to buy our own textbooks is really nice.

2 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: things that they should be strict on they are and things they shouldn't be strict on they are.

2 College Freshman

Greek Life: Professors and everyone gears things towards greek life, if you aren't in a frat or sorority here you are considered weird. It's hard to fit in being non-greek

1 College Freshman

Diversity: The campus gears towards african american students and not as much to anyone else.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: My parents hated how they handled financial aid here

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Some of the deals are really good but they aren't super close to campus.

3 College Freshman

Weather: its okay, if it's raining sometimes the streets flood

2 College Freshman

Athletics: Classes are structured at all, and its only a good school for sports

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Getting into the Athletic Training was a hard, long process and required a lot of sacrifice. The most important criteria for admission is just being attentive and doing everything that is required. The program does not have an abnormal application process.
