Campus Strictness: Ecu isn't a very strict school at all on minor things

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I love off campus housing. It is nice to have a place to cook, set your own curfew, and peace and quiet when you need it.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: I can always find an open computer with all the updated software.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: We do not have many attractions, and everthing is so spread apart that it is difficult to get alot of places. Our school is located near the main street so we have quit a few of the little shop varieties.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: I don't use it, but I often see people on the bus.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There are hardly any crime on campus, I feel completely safe on campus, there are emergency buttons on campus so in case of an emergency you'll have an easy access to those emergency spots.

College Freshman

Greek Life: I'm not sure about all the Greek stuff, because I'm not involved in any Greek things nor do I really pay attention.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I'm still underage and so I wouldn't know what the parties, or bars etc., are like.

4 College Freshman

Computers: I don't personally use the computer labs here because I have my own laptop and printer, but anywhere you go such as the library or computer labs printing in regular black and white is free, but I believe for colored printing its 25 cents a print. The network and speed here is great if you don't hit any dead spots, wireless access is in every building and as I said before it's great unless you hit a dead spot. And you do not need to bring your own computer/laptop to class because taking notes is easy and comprehendable.

Parking: The parking here is decent, if you're not here early you may have to park on the other side of the buidlings, which isn't too bad, just a bit more walking to do. Permit costs I'm not too sure about because my mom paid for mine, but the tickets aren't that much. If you need a ride somewhere to get some food for your dorm we have a "Walmart Bus" that takes ECU students to Walmart.

Athletics: Being a small university, athletics are not a huge factor among the students.
