Alumni Publications
East Magazine, published quarterly, reaches more than 60,000 readers and features articles about ECU events and alumni and a special section, "Class Notes," to which alumni may submit updates, such as new job promotions or marriage and birth notices
Major Alumni Events
  • The Great Pirate Purple-Gold Pigskin Pigout (commonly just called "The Pigskin Pigout") celebrates the spring football scrimmage and features a pig-cooking contest, a carnival, and fireworks
  • Homecoming includes miscellaneous departmental and student group reunions, a scholarship golf tournament, complimentary breakfast at the Alumni Center, a parade on Fifth Street, a football tailgate party, and a football game at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
