The bars are really fun, however there are to really that many options in terms of house parties, as in they are almost non existent. This all adds up but still if you have a job and a decent size wallet then you're golden.

There is a lot going on throughout the weekend. Sororities and Fraternities have joint parties and events all the time

Nightlife consists of Greek parties and going to the local bars. The school is working on numerous non-alchoholic programs, such as Free Movie Friday. Every Friday night the Student Activities Board shows a pre-released movie for free. The event also has free snacks. Throughout the year SAB works to plan different events, but most night life is greek related. That being said, you don't have to be greek to go. It definitely helps in knowing people, but with 30 percent of the campus being Greek your destined to have friends in fraternities and sororities.

Nightlife at Drake is open to all ages. There are a few bars very close to campus that will let underage students in, but be careful not to get busted. Getting to know the bartenders will get you discounts. However, the fraternity scene is not great. Drake has strict policies on parties at fraternity houses, so your best bet is know the guys, or get invited to a planned event, like a date party or formal. There are a few house parties occasionally, but you have to know the people who live there to know about it.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
