Computers: Having a personal computer is a necessity. Labs are well equipped with many computers.

Computers: Limited and out dated labs

Computers: Sometimes the connection leaves and comes back. There are other times where there are no computers left but you juat have to keep looking all around until you find one.

Computers: The network reliability can be a bit stress, especially when trying to connect a personal computer to the school's connection. It may not always work and if it does, it can be slow.

Computers: Printing on campus is great because Dominican gives you a free credit for the printer (maybe a little over $100 if I remember correctly) at the beginning of each year. The wifi is spotty pretty often, so you never know if the internet is going to work or take forever to load.

For the most part, Dominican has good technology. However, one big setback is that IT does not help students with personally-owned computers; IT only works on machines owned by the University, which is a total bummer if your computer crashes before a big paper is due.

On the upside, there are a few computer labs on campus where students can go if they want to work on a campus computer, including the Lewis Technology Center and the Parmer Computer Lab.
