5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love how small the classes are because it makes it easier to connect to the teacher and feel like I really matter. When the class is smaller it is a lot easier to get one on one time with the teacher and they are more willing to help.

Overall Experience: The school provides lot of opportunities to experience job prospects.

Student Body: The diversity of the school is great! Each year I have seen more and more diversity at the school and this year I expect to see more!

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I'm still taking the prerequisites, but what I have taken it has been awesome. They have teachers that have been in the profession and know what they are teaching.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The class registration process is super easy. I usually have a difficult time with computer things like that, but it is simple to use. The professors here are awesome and are willing to work with students.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: I'm not there yet, but from what I've heard from others it is pretty great.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The teachers are awesome and are willing to work with you schedule and are understanding about things. They love to help and ask all the time that we come talk to them when we have any questions or are struggling in any way. The only thing that bothers me is the hours of financial aid and registration. They close at 5 so it makes it difficult for me, and I'm sure others, to get there because our jobs are the same hours.

Campus Resources: The college recently got a new student center that is amazing and I love it! There are a lot of campus activities to attend to and a lot of people get involved.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition for this school is the lowest in the state and it is very easy to receive financial aid.

Overall Experience: The courses stay on topic and are taught by competent professors. There is a variety of courses and different electives to take, but may sometimes conflict with your schedule.

Academic Experience: I really like the professors in the Criminal Justice department. They know what they are talking about and are very helpful. There isn't a lot of work in lower division classes, but the average paper amount is 1-2 per class. The building is small with only two CJ classrooms and one Digital Forensics lab and it is off campus. The CJ program offers Criminology Emphasis and Digital Forensics Emphasis, so you can choose whether you want a more traditional CJ degree or one that is starting to emerge.

Academic Experience: Most of the professors are nice and willing to help you understand. They are approachable and will work around any problems that may arise. Depending on the class there may be homework, but it isn't too much. It is easy to register and professors are helpful if you need help getting in their class.

Online Courses: They are a lot easier and accessible when you can't take an in-person class. It all depends on your professor and the class as to whether or not its great or not. I didn't like my class and I felt that my professor didn't know what they were talking about, but its all a matter of opinion. Looking at other professors and how they run their online class, some are really good and others are like the one I had.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is a gym, a wellness center, a library, and a student center, which are all easy to get to and are convenient. Campus activities tend to be limited and there isn't a whole lot of participation, unless its a dance.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Some classes don't have multiple classes, only one class choice the entire semester. There are also classes that you can't take because they conflict with another class, even though you need it to graduate and they only offer it only in a certain semester. Transferring credits was easy as all you had to do was bring in an official transcript from another school.

College Senior

Career Services: The career center is helpful, but most of the information regarding jobs is online. There is not a lot of information regarding alumni or job prospects, so I really can't rate the service as I don't know.

3 College Senior

Student Body: People tend to stick to their cliques and some come off as self important, but there are some generally nice people. Ethnically it is mostly made up of white and Asian, with fewer African Americans and Latinos. Most if not all are part of the Church of the Latter Day Saints.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Simple and straightforward, as long as you submit your FAFSA in time. No problems at all receiving aid.

College Junior

Career Services: I don't know anything about post grad school, so this I don't have an answer for.

College Junior

Overall Experience: I have not started classes yet, but it looks very promising and hope to learn new things and graduate to make a better future for myself and my family.

Campus Resources: The Holland building has what is known as the " stacks" on the 3rd floor. Which are compressed bookshelves that open up creating an aisle for you to get into with the push of a button. Not only is it incredibly cool, they save a lot of room while still being able to bring in more books

Academic Flexibility: I have never had a problem or hassle with my school. I actually signed up for some classes and later forgot about 1 of them and never went. I thought they would charge me for it or give me a failing grade but instead refunded me the money without harming my GPA

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: I hear that the post grad services are good at the college and the faculty are very supportive of their students moving on to graduate school.
